Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Venkataramannagudem

In view of the need for trained personnel to carryout para-veterinary work in villages, the local representatives have requested the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh to start “Animal Husbandry Polytechnic” in the premises of Buffalo Research Station, Venkataramannagudem on 24.08.2004 during the “Rythu Sadassu” conducted at Buffalo Research Station.

Dr. Bindu Kiranmayi. Ch (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology) obtained BVSc & AH from College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati in the year 2006. She obtained MVSc and doctorate degrees in Veterinary Public Health from College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Joined the university as Assistant Professor on 23-11-2012 and currently performing her duties as Principal, Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari since 23-9-2020.
