The Government of Andhra Pradesh established a new Veterinary College at Garividi, Vizianagaram District vide G.O.Ms.No.19, AHDD & F (AH-II) Dept., Dated 07.05.2016.
The University started works relating to creation of infrastructural, administrative and academic facilities as per VCI, 2016 resolutions to start the first professional year in the academic year 2018-19.
Administrative sanction was given for an outlay of Rs.8172 lakhs for construction of Academic and Administrative buildings, Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, Girls and Boys hostels, under RIDF Tranche XXII, of NABARD vide G.O.Ms.No.12, AHDD&F (AH-II), Dept., dated 06.04.17.
