Training programmes organised:
Training programme on “Breeding Management of Sheep & Goat” was organised for Para-veterinarians
at LRS, Siddarampuram on 28.11.2017. The training programme emphasized mainly on
types and characterisitics of Nellore sheep, Breeding practices in sheep, Selection
and care of breeding ram etc., followed by farm visit to enlighten the breeding
policy practiced in the farm; fodder crops, silage and Azolla. Thirty Para-veterinarians
from Ananthapur participated in the programme.
