Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Venkataramannagudem

In view of the need for trained personnel to carryout para-veterinary work in villages, the local representatives have requested the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Government of Andhra Pradesh to start “Animal Husbandry Polytechnic” in the premises of Buffalo Research Station, Venkataramannagudem on 24.08.2004 during the “Rythu Sadassu” conducted at Buffalo Research Station.

Dr.Valeti Samatha (Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology) has obtained BVSC & AH in 2000 from ANGRAU. She obtained MVSc in Veterinary Pathology from College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University in year 2010 and was awarded Professor S.M MOHIUDDIN Gold Medal in year 2010. She obtained Ph.D in NTR College of Veterinary Science, Gannavaram in year 2019 and joined as Assistant Professor in Department of Veterinary Pathology at NTR College of Veterinary Science, Gannavaram on 5-11-2011. Joined as Principal at Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Venkakataramanagudem on 5/3/2024.
