Dr. Bindu Kiranmayi. Ch (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology) obtained BVSc & AH from College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati in the year 2006. She obtained MVSc and doctorate degrees in Veterinary Public Health from College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Joined the university as Assistant Professor on 23-11-2012 and currently performing her duties as Principal, Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari since 23-9-2020. She has got 9 years of experience in teaching, research and extension and carried out research projects funded by DST-SERB entitled “Epidemiology, phenotypic and genotypic characterization of different β-lactamases in major Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from animals and humans” and an university funded state plan project on “Molecular diagnosis of scrub typhus- an emerging zoonotic threat to human health”. Dr. Bindu Kiranmayi. Ch has published 32 research articles in various national and international reputed journals. She has guided 4 MVSc students as Chairman and 9 MVSc students as member of the advisor committee.
