The Department of Biochemistry was started in the year 1992 as an inter faculty department with three staff members (Sri. MRL Prabhu as HOD, Sri.K.Sudhakar Reddy and Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy) i.e. two from agriculture faculty and one from veterinary faculty to cater the need of agriculture, veterinary and dairy technology students.
