Introduction

NAAC Accreditation determines the quality of the Institute in terms of Education, Research, Infrastructure, Teaching, Learning, Placement etc. NAAC accreditation helps the University in the allocation of resources, planning in the internal areas. In pursuance of the National Action plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for Performance evaluation, Assessment and Accreditation and quality upgradation of Institutions of Higher Education, the NAAC proposes that every accredited Institution should establish Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an Institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of the quality enhancement and sustenance. Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, is applying NAAC Accredition for the first time. This Univeristy is listed under 12(B) & 2(f) category of UGC.
